Project 4 Environmental video sketch and visual

Brief：

The topic I explored in project4 is environmental degradation. This problem is one of the biggest challenges facing the world today. The wanton destruction of human beings has led to the deterioration of the environment. From rising temperatures to declining biodiversity, the driver card of climate change examines the future impact of climate change on the natural and built environment.

The story of the video tells the story of people in the future world sending a video to the present humans through a time-space transmitter. The video tells people today that they can protect the environment. Otherwise, the deterioration of the climate shortly will make it difficult for humans to survive on the earth.

The content layout of the video has three aspects. First, the first part of the video is about the destruction of plants, the second part is about the hazards of garbage, and the third part is about the dangers of excessive temperature and melting of glaciers caused by car exhaust emissions.

I took three videos to express the deterioration of the environment and edited them into a story. The video style uses Retro-futurism to describe. Characterized by a blend of old-fashioned “retro styles” with futuristic technology, retrofuturism explores the themes of tension between past and future and between the alienating and empowering effects of technology.
